BioI've been a native Great Lakes/urban Midwesterner for my entire life, leaving Detroit in favor of Chicago about 12 years ago. I'm living the do-it-yourselfer lifestyle, rehabbing a 2-flat that I share with my coyotedog, her pet cat, and my upstairs neighbors-- who happen to be my sister and my best friend , her husband. My life is a sitcom.
I quit my IT job in the trading industry on Tuesday, June 15 2004, in favor of an alternative certification teaching program. I'll start teaching high school math in Chicago Public Schools in September.
